It is very uncommon that the actual injector (metal) lines would be leaking. Oven cleaner's main ingredient is lye. Lye is very, very aggressive at corroding aluminum (corrodes all sorts of things, but aluminum is particularly vulnerable). If the oven cleaner gets down past the injector into your cylinder, it's going to do bad things. I've had great luck with some penetrating oil called Kroil.
762 posts · Joined 2020. #3 · Aug 3, 2021. To remove hood on a 4020 remove 1 bolt on each side at the rear of hood after removing the side shields that have spring loaded pins. Then remove side screens by pulling on the top of the screens. The screens have springs attached at the top & 2 pins that rest in holes at the bottom of each screen.
However, looking at those threads, the first is for a diesel; the second discusses Witchunter Performance & Dr Injector servicing (much as in this "Decent Techron thread"); the third mentioned Bosch injectors; the fourth talks about fuel-injector cleaners as does the fifth. Therefore, none of them are particularly useful for an injector removal
